iPhone users can download our FishPhone application from the iTunes store. Launched on July 6, 2010, our app brings you more than seafood rankings--we give you wine pairings and recipes to inspire delicious ways for you to enjoy your ocean-friendly seafood.
The app is brought to you in partnership with Brancott, one of the founding members of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, Brancott has an established history of respecting the environment. On the app you can find Brancott's suggested wine pairings for ocean-friendly seafood choices.
No iPhone? No worries! You can send us a text message to learn about your seafood choices.
Text 30644 with the message FISH and the name of the fish in question. We'll text you back with our assessment and better alternatives to fish with significant environmental concerns.
And new this summer you can text the word BLUE to 30644 to opt-in to receive ocean-alerts, info on new seafood rankings and cooking tips (as always, standard messaging rates apply).
You'll receive a message back inviting you to text in your email address so we can keep in touch via email too. Once you're opted in you will receive a couple of texts a month from us with updates.
